|National Parks of Utah:
A Journey to the Colorado Plateau
64 pages. Oversized 10”x13”
This stunningly beautiful, oversized book is lavishly illustrated with breathtaking color imagery by America’s leading landscape photographers. In addition to the stunning photography, the book also includes detailed maps of the park and region and insightful, heartfelt narratives detailing the park’s natural and human histories.
These parks do not exist in isolation. They are simply headliners in an all-star cast of public lands- national monuments, national forests, wilderness areas, and state parks- that cover 11 million acres of the 83 million acre Colorado Plateau, the mile high geological province that contains the Colorado River System and encompasses parts of Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado.

Beautiful book. Lots of information. If you only buy one book this would be the one I recommend. Pictures are great. Paula

One of the most informative books that I have read, especially for first time users. I still stop by the Visitor's Center, but only to gather the latest information and updates. While visiting Bryce and Zion several times, I still found the book to include information that I was not aware of.
Beautiful photos, and an excellent guide to the AZ/UT border area.
